TiMoGo started out as a concept by three individuals working for a nationally known cable technologies firm as contractors. We all knew various ends of the technology sector. We had experience in aspects that included everything from software, hardware, sales, and one of us had owed an online store at one point in time.
One day at lunch, we started talking about what we were going to do after our contract ended. We discussed the various opportunities in the technology market at the time. Since we all had varying talents, we were looking at different types of technology opportunities.
Then someone made the comment about how we had such a well rounded amount of experience, and we clearly enjoyed working with each other, we should just market ourselves as a group.
We all kind of looked at each other at that moment and someone said, “Hey, we could start a business together ”. A couple of weeks went by, our contract kept getting extended, and we never really followed up on anything.
Then the roommate of one of us was complaining about how he was having a tough time at his work and really wished they could figure out how to fix the problem. It turns out that his boss was having an issue that required some really good SEO techniques and the two SEO firms he had hired in the past did little, if anything, to help the situation. The other firms may have even damaged the situation more because they used some “Black Hat” SEO techniques.
The opportunity to utilize some our greatest talents was suddenly in front of us! We talked about it for a few days, and decided that we could make this happen. We just needed a plan. The plan would be to combine our talents for SEO, technology, and sales to make a new SEO company. This opportunity was made just for us, and fell into our lap at just the right time.

We got together to form a plan. Of course, we would need a plan to make this the best SEO technology firm. But where do we start? We had a potential client, but how do we present ourselves? One of us chimed up with an old idea, “When your back is against the wall, and you don’t know where to start a project, start over at the beginning”.
